Meet Ford – a little 7 pound guy with a truly big heart! Ford is a sweet senior chihuahua (estimated at over 9 years old) searching for his forever home. He is cuddly, loving, and absolutely adores attention. He would be happiest with someone who will dote on him, snuggle with him, and help him feel safe, cherished, and loved.
Ford came to APB in rough shape from a hoarding situation and required treatments for persistent intestinal parasites and and disgnostics for a persistent cough. He also had a full dental and has been neutered and microchipped. Most importantly, Ford was diagnosed with advanced heart disease and will need heart medication for the rest of his life. With medication, Ford is now much more comfortable and does well on walks with his foster mom. He is looking for a compassionate adopter who understands his medical needs and is committed to keeping him comfortable, healthy, and well cared for.
Ford currently lives with three other dogs, but he prefers all the attention he can get and would do best as an only dog or with laid back dogs who will give him space on his person’s lap.
Senior dogs have so much love to give, and Ford deserves to spend his golden years surrounded by warmth, kindness, and plenty of cuddles.
