APB’s mission is to rescue, foster, and place abandoned and/or mistreated dogs in caring, permanent homes.
Animal Placement Bureau (APB) is a no-kill, all-volunteer rescue group committed to caring for dogs from Michigan and other states with the goal of placing each dog in a loving, thoroughly evaluated, safe, permanent home—its last home.
Through its network of foster homes, APB’s purpose is to house, make healthy, spay or neuter, train and evaluate temperament to determine the most suitable placement for the dogs that come to us from shelters, unfortunate owners, and through local government authorities.
Through its members, APB strives to educate the community about proper care and treatment of the dogs we love and the responsibility that comes with pet ownership, including the importance of spaying and neutering dogs and cats.
