CATARACT SURGERYBreed: Shih tzu mix maybe DOB: 2011 Sex: Neutered male Weight: 11 pounds 337-17 My owner went into a nursing home and had no other immediate family so the caretaker had to take me to the pound with my “sister” Angel. I bump into things when I am in a new place. If you look close, you can see that white in my eyes. I went to the eye doctor for animals and I have cataracts. The cataracts are causing inflammation in my eyes so I have to have eye drops every day either for the rest of my life or until I can have these pesky cataracts removed. Wouldn’t it be nicer for me to have the surgery so that I don’t have inflammation in my eyes any longer? Plus I would be able to see! I really don’t mind that I can’t see but some people think it is such a shame that such a young dog can’t run after a ball or chase other dogs or other fun things. If you agree that I should have a chance to see again, please consider donating towards my surgery!
