Fostered in Holland, MI

Breed: Bischon/Shih tzu mix
DOB: 2022
Sex: Neutered male
Weight:
18 pounds
Foster home: Julie
068-25

Teddy is a nibbler.  And he likes to nibble human fingers and hands.  His foster mom’s theory is that as a puppy, someone played with him by grabbing at his mouth/nose and taught him to do this.  There could be another reason but we will never know.
He can be distracted to stop this and just accept petting but he will need a home without young children and no older children or adults who will encourage this behavior.
As far as the rest of his personality, he plays well with other dogs and even will “take on” dogs over 50 pounds!
He is not good in a crate but he doesn’t really need one as he seems to be housetrained and even barks sometimes to go outside if he is a little off the usual schedule.
When the humans go to bed, he acts like wants to be on the bed but will not jump up on it.  If you lift him on the bed, he stays for maybe 5 seconds and then jumps off.  He prefers to sleep in a doggie bed on the floor in the bedroom.
