No one is sure what happened but some how Sheena’s hip was dislocated. It happened before she was found as a stray so the best way to help her to be able to use her left leg again, an FHO surgery was recommended.
The shelter could not afford this surgery and recovery in a shelter is not ideal. They put out a plea to rescues because she was in pain. They begged for someone to take her because she had such a sweet personality even though she hurt.
She would love some help with the cost of her surgery. Once she is healed up, she still needs to be spayed and she may need some physical therapy because the injury is old enough that her muscles may need help to get strong again.
The good news is that she is heartworm and tick borne diseases negative!
She loves other dogs and humans and once she is ready for adoption, she will be a really awesome dog for someone or some family.
