Poncho’s owner passed away. The family not only didn’t want him, but had no patience for him. Luckily, he eventually ended up in rescue.

He came to us bewildered and scared. New people frighten him initially, but once acclimated he is a playful and snuggly little dude. He tosses his toys around and initiates play with the other dogs. He loves a warm lap wrapped in a blanket. One of his favorite tricks is snatching Kleenex or paper towels much to my dismay. He would do best with adults and older kids familiar with stubborn Chihuahuas.
