Piper is a 9-month-old, 55lb-ish American Bully looking for her furever home. She loves running around the yard with the other dogs that live in the foster home with her. She enjoys playing fetch in the back yard with tennis balls or any toys really.

After running she likes to find a shady place to lay and rest. When she is not running around outside, you can find her at your side or at your feet while you watch a movie or as you read a book.

Piper does have a prey drive on small animals, so a fenced in yard is an absolute must.

Piper understands her basic commands such as sit, stay, and come (come is on her need to do so basis) and is kennel / crate trained but typically is left outside of her crate / kennel. Piper is also house trained. Piper enjoys meeting new people and making friends, however, she is still a puppy and can be easily over stimulated so slow introductions are important. Piper enjoys being outside and walks well on a leash when her attention is had, but other times she is a strong leash puller who will need some training.

Piper currently lives in her foster home with two male dogs that love to play wrestle with her.

Piper has had few female dog interactions that have gone well, but as a bully breed, we recommend that she not be placed with another female pit bull. Interactions with cats are unknown. A house without young children is recommended as Piper is a high energy dog and knocks things over when excited, especially greeting people or seeing new things.
