HI! I’m Monty!
Me and my two brothers came to APB From Kentucky, where we were found on the side of the road as tiny babies.
After a long road trip, we ended up at my foster moms house.
Its fun here, there are doggies to play with, and my brother is here too so we wrestle and get into all kinds of fun! (trouble=fun to puppies).
My foster mom says I have a lot of breeds in my background, but I am so much heavier than my brother I have the same mom but a different daddy. My daddy was a big dog! I have Shepherd and Malamute and even some Golden Retriever and Husky in my background, but I’m just a big ole oaf of a puppy. In the month that I’ve been here I’ve tripled in size already!
I love doing fun doggy stuff, playing with toys, and hanging out outside.
We had some of that white snow when I came to Michigan and oh, my goodness that was so, so fun to play in! I would slide on the deck, eat it, and chase little balls when they fell from the sky…and mom would even kick them to me. I don’t get as cold as my sissy brother and snow is super fun! I also like water on warm days. Mom says I’m not allowed to swim in the water dish, but I try to anyways!
She says I’m also an easy-going puppy, I don’t demand as much attention as my brother does. I like to snuggle for a minute, but mom is so warm, I get hot and want to get down and lay on the floor or a puppy bed. I do like to lay next to her sometimes, but not a lot. I love my new family but Im a pretty chill kind of guy. I love to follow the people and dogs around and try to make them walk around me.
I sleep like a good boy in my crate next to her at night and I only whine if I forgot to go potty before bed. I know that I am supposed to go to the door to get outside to potty, but if no one opens the door, I gotta do my business. So my foster mom says she has to keep a closer eye on me. I also like to go out and then in, and then back out and maybe back in again. She says “you’re going to drive me crazy” whatever that means!!
Id love to have more dogs to play with too, but if you don’t have another dog, you will have to be my best friend and I’m OK with that!
I don’t need a crazy active family, but I do want a family who will take me fun places in the snow and take me places where I can get wet when its warm out.
