Calling all Beagle lovers!  This beautiful girl is a true beagle in most ways!  However she is a little shy and takes a couple of weeks to really warm up to you. And she is not as food motivated as most – she is picky about what food and treats she will accept.  Lucy is afraid of most loud noises, but hasn’t heard fireworks yet!  Although quiet in the house, if she sees a squirrel or rabbit outside, that will set her off in hunting mode and she will make all kinds of noises!  She was surrendered to us from her original owner through no fault of her own. Lucy gets along with other dogs, but so far has not played with them.  We take her to the dog park for socialization and she does fine – loves to wander around sniffing. At home, Lucy likes to be on the couch or in a lap and likes to sleep on the bed. Of course, she is all up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped.  If you think you would like to meet her, or have any questions, contact  janandal@sbcglobal.net.   Or come to one of our adoption meet and greets listed on the website.
