Looking for your new best friend? -Why settle for just one when you could have two?
Panda and Lucky are two well behaved senior girls that have grown up together. They had a good owner but due to circumstances out of his control he wasn’t able to keep them any more and hopes we can find them their perfect new home. They are not officially “bonded” to each other but we would like to try to keep them together as a pair if possible.

Lucky is 10.5 years old but the vet says she’s still going strong. She might be a lab border collie mix. She likes going for walks and loves playing fetch. She likes toys and can sometimes be a little possessive of them with other dogs. She always hoards a pile of them by her bed. She is sweet and well mannered, friendly. She is more laid back and just likes to lay on a soft dog bed in your room. She is house trained, does not need to be crated, would be good with kids. Has not been around cats. Likes other dogs (may tell them to leave her toys alone) but isn’t huge on playing with them. She usually doesn’t come up on the furniture but prefers her dog bed. Low to medium exercise needs. Lucky weighs about 55lbs.

Panda just turned 8 years old. We think she may be a Border Collie Australian Shepherd mix. She is also a sweet well behaved girl, but is a little more needy. She likes attention and will crawl up on your lap if you let her. She’s not that big on toys or playing fetch but loves going for walks. She is very food motivated. She is a little bit of a chunk and could stand to lose a few pounds but nothing major. She is good with other dogs but like Lucky she tends to do her own thing rather than playing with them. Has not been around cats. Good with kids but may be best with kids 6 and up more so due to the fact she could easily knock them down, or doesn’t realize her weight and may try to jump on their lap without warning or step all over them (foster mom speaking from experience here). She is also house trained and does not need to be crated. She enjoys a good scritch-scratch on her booty. Medium exercise needs. Panda weighs about 60lbs.

Both girls have a clean bill of health. Both girls walk well on a leash (Panda pulls mildly) and can be walked pretty easily handled by one person with a double waist leash. Both ride well in the car. Both do not necessarily need a fenced in yard but do need someone that can consistently take them for walks, in all seasons. They are not huge barkers, just a bit if they see someone out the window or if a new person comes over so might be able to handle living in an apartment or condo. Both definitely want to meet you!
