ADOPTED!

Breed: Australian Shepherd
DOB: 2019
Sex: Spayed female
Weight:
35 pounds
Foster home: Linda M
034-22

Only applicants that have had previous aussie experience will be considered for Joey.

Joey is a 3 year old spayed black tri female Australian Shepherd who weighs about 35 pounds. She is super smart and learns commands after one time and is eager to please her person. She is very treat motivated and just wants to be a companion to someone who will love her for who she is.

She would
be best as an only dog or with one other aussie. She likes to intimidate other dogs (small and large) but will play when she wants to. She will play ball and frisbee in the back yard.

Joey has not had a good life in the past so she doesn’t greet people or new dogs well.  She has relaxed a lot since coming
into rescue but still feels like she needs to let people know that she is nervous when they get to close to her. Once she bonds with her person, she is a love bug and velcro like any other aussie out there.

She loves to ride in the car and walks pretty well on a leash.
