Breed: Australian Shepherd
DOB:9/27/22
Sex: neutered male

Weight: 50 to 60 lbs
Foster home: Jen G.

Jack is a typical energetic aussie. He gets very attached to his person, is friendly with strange women he meets, but is a little leary of strange men. He has not been around children so how he would be with them is unknown. He has grown up with cats so is fine with them.
He gets along great with other dogs, as long as he can be top dog. His foster mom would love to keep him, but Nelly, her alpha dog, is only 20 pounds and has not figured out Jack is three times her size. Most of the time he ignores her, but when she gets too pushy, he flattens her. Jack never starts it. It is always Nelly. No damage has been done yet, but they can’t stay together.
Jack is well mannered, never jumps on people and is house broken and crate trained. He sits for a treat or his meal. He love toys, but don’t get expensive ones, since he loves tearing them apart. He has not chewed on anything he shouldn’t in his foster home, since he is well supplied with items he can chew on.
Jack’s only downside is that car rides make him sick. Other than that, he is a great dog.
