Gracie is a very sweet, easy going, 9.5 lb Chihuahua who will be 14 years old in May. She enjoys walks and car rides. She’s a cuddler and prefers women over men. She will cuddle with men if picked up by them, but she won’t come to them on her own.
She has a cataract and cannot see in one eye and the start of a cataract in the other eye, but still has sight in that eye. She does have mild separation anxiety. If her people are home and she is not in the same room as them, she gets frantic and will look everywhere for them until she finds them. But when her people leave the house and she is alone in the house, she does well and doesn’t destroy anything. When you return she is adorably ecstatic. She is so happy to see you, she almost looks like she is smiling.
Gracie doesn’t have any interest in playing with toys. She is happy just to be with you. She is house trained but you must take her out regularly because she will not tell you when she has to go. She will have urine accidents if you don’t take her out regularly. She has never had a poo accident in the house.
She would make a wonderful companion to a retired couple who just want an easy going, chill, girl. She gets along with other dogs, as long as they don’t harass her. It is not known how she deals with cats. She does fine with kids, but is a little wary only because they move fast and her eyesight is not good.
