Gomez was a happy little guy living with his owner and another dog.  His owner passed away and there was no family to take him.  But his owner had volunteered with us so we were more than happy to take him in.
It seems though that Gomez doesn’t like other dogs to share his space.  He gets along fine as long as they don’t want to snuggle in a doggie bed with him.

He is housetrained although when his owner started getting sick, he didn’t get let outside too often.  He was using the potty pads but he is more than happy to go outside and seems to actually prefer it.

Rarely do we hear him bark unless he has decided he wants to go back in the house and we haven’t noticed soon enough to suit him.

This little guinea pig is overweight and has lost a little since coming here but he should be watched to not gain weight and to still lose a little more.

Sleeping on your bed is nice for him but he is also content to sleep in a doggie bed.  He does have a set of steps which he uses to get on the couch.
