Looking for a fun time canine companion? Look no further……we have the dog for you!!

Daisy is a gorgeous, blue and white colored, 1 year old, 10lb ball of goofy antics, fun-loving energy and
when she is all done playing…..warm blankets and lap naps with her people. DD is UTD on shots,
spayed, microchipped and HW negative. Our best guess is she appears to be a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua
mix. We have fostered several of both breeds and she tends to favor the comical Rat Terrier part more
in temperament. We would tell any interested adopter to research traits of the Rat Terrier for more
info. She is also not much of a barker. She is very willing to go in her crate at night or for those short
time periods when her people are not home. Truthfully, she would love to sleep with her human in bed.

Daisy is a very sturdy, athletic, and built for speed kind of dog. Her fosters think she would be
phenomenal at Frisbee, lure coursing or even flyball. DD has been great in foster with house training,
going potty outside and using pads in the house when the weather is yucky or she cannot get outside.
She really likes a warm coat or sweater on a cold day though. As is typical of Rat Terriers, DD is very
smart, learns new things quickly and is also very food motivated. She works for treats!

Because DD loves to play and chase, homes with cats or pocket pets will not be considered as she would
harass them. While she has been housed in foster with multiple dogs, she can be relentless in her need
to play. Some dogs will find this very annoying. A dog savvy adopter with another dog, of equal size and
energy level, may be considered with a required trial adoption period to ensure proper fit with any
resident canine. She would also do great as a single dog if her adoptive home is an active one. Because
DD is a bit nervous with younger children, a home with older children, who would be considerate of her
small size but can keep her mind and body busy, would be awesome! She will also need a secure,
physically fenced yard as her chase drive would override any electric underground fencing and a tie out
would not make her happy. She rides very well in a car. Anywhere her human goes is where she wants
to be.
