Aubrey is fostered in Holland, MI

At times Aubrey can be active, agile and full of energy.  Then at other times she is affectionate and needy and just wants attention.  She plays well with other small dogs but it is a little timid with large dogs who want to play.  Her personality is more like a poodle than a shih tzu.

Aubrey does not like the crate but she really doesn’t need it.  She sleeps on the bed and wants to sleep right next to you so if you don’t like dogs on your bed, you will not appreciate her.

Since she loves to run and play fetch with a tennis ball or stuff squeaky toy, she needs a fenced yard.  That is all she has known while in foster and she was an unclaimed stray at a shelter so we do not have any history on her nor do we know if she has ever met a cat.  She has tried to dig under the fence to get at the neighbor’s chickens and once dashed out the door to attack one so she does not like chickens other than to attack them.

She might be good with respectful children but she hasn’t met any yet so we are not sure about that.
