Archie is a fun-loving, friendly and smart guy. He and two other puppies were abandoned on the side of a road in a small town in Ohio. He lives with other dogs and cats in his foster home. If a cat ran, he would chase it, just because it’s running, but the cats in his foster home are no fun. They don’t run, so it’s more fun to play with his dog buddies instead.
Archie loves EVERYONE whether they are human, dog or cat. He has not been around children, but would most likely love them too (he loves the ones he’s met, anyway), although he is still a puppy and hasn’t learned not to jump. He has learned to go to the door when he needs to go out, but if ignored will still have an accident. Other than jumping, he is very well mannered. He will sit or lay down by the table when you are eating, and he sits for a treat or his meal.  He also rides beautifully in the car. He just curls up on the back seat.
Archie is a hound, so a fenced yard is highly recommended. He doesn’t bark a lot, but when he does it’s certainly a hound bark, so an apartment would probably not be a good idea, either.
His foster mom can’t understand why he hasn’t been adopted yet. He’s going to make some lucky person a great buddy.
