136-22 Meet Fred!
If the dictionary had a category for Sweetest Dog Ever, there would be a picture of Alfredo aka Fred. He is a one and a half year old Beagle , Lab mix. He is a calm and happy boy. House trained, UTD on all vaccine Heart worm negative, neutered, microchipped and full of love. He would do well in a house with another dog. He loves to play.
He loves to ride in the car, go on walks, play ball and nuzzle . He does pull on the leash a little but he is working on that in his foster home. He has liked everyone he has met, both canine and human. Even tall men with hats!
He does have some separation anxiety. A home with more than one person and a somewhat regular schedule will go a long way with helping that. Lots of fresh air, play time and exercise has done a great deal on decreasing his separation anxiety. He is doing fine alone for about 4 hours.
No children under 10.
His only somewhat unpleasant behavior is that he hogs the bed! But he sleeps all night and does not snore.
He does have some scarring on his right retina. Our vet thinks he may have been born with it but we did schedule an appointment with a veterinary ophthalmologist. We will post an update if the appointment happens before he is adopted.
