Walter was rescued form a hoarding situation, so we don’t know much about his past.  We think he is 12 to 14 years old, but in good health.  He is blind and mostly deaf, but gets around just fine by walking very slowly. We also have to carry him outside to go potty as he can’t do steps.  For an older, blind chi, he doesn’t have many accidents in the house. He will bark when he wants to go out, or goes on the pee pad in his crate. He doesn’t play at all and sometimes will sit on your lap and sleep. But mostly he just wanders around and then sleeps. Walter would be ideal for a person who just wants some company around, and something to take care of.  He really just doesn’t require much, so is very easy. We feed him a mix of kibble and canned food, but he can chew, as we have given him some treats that are chewable. He now lives with three other dogs and is fine with them and seems good with all people.  He just needs a home to live out the rest of his life in comfort and warmth.  Because he is a senior, we don’t require our usual whole adoption fee.
