This very sweet guy needed 4 different growths removed and analyzed to make sure they were not cancerous.  Three growths on his head were just warts and thankfully the growth on his leg was only a benign lipoma and was completely removed.  Hemangiopericytoma are commonly found on the limbs of middle aged to older dogs and can be aggressive — we were afraid this is what Sparky had so we are so thankful that it was only a fatty lump!

Sparky is healed and ready for adoption.  He has very little of the typical terrier disposition — he rarely barks, is calm and easy going and seems to have no desire to chase little critters.  He doesn’t require a lot of exercise although he does to love to take his time wandering around outside when the weather is good.

Sparky says: Since Parson Russell Terriers were bred for show, rather than hunting, that is probably why I am such a good boy.
A DNA test was donated so that my foster could figure out what I was.  If you click on the picture, it is easier to read.

If you can’t adopt but want to help us out with his medical bill, any donation is not too small.  Click on the donate button to gift with Paypal or a credit card
