I certainly do not care that I am blind and I get around really well once I learn my home and yard.  I have not had any accidents since I came here but I don’t usually let you know I have to go outside.  My foster person just asks me first thing in the morning and then a couple of times throughout the day.  If I have to go, I get up and go outside.

If the weather is pleasant, while I am outside I sometimes like to putz around a bit or even lay in the grass for a while.  If I get a little thirsty, I know where the water dishes are kept and I help myself to a drink.  When I am ready to come in, my foster person notices and lets me back in although if the doggie is open, I have even learned to get back in the house all by myself!

I have no problem with other dogs and even lived for a while with a cat and didn’t mind that kitty at all.  I don’t move very fast though so I need a home where there are not children who might trip over me.   I don’t bark — in fact my foster person isn’t sure that I know how to bark!

If you talk to me, I wag my tail and I hope you are talking to me because you plan on giving me attention.  I really like those pettings and someone fussing over me.

There are some fatty tumors on my body but they don’t bother me.  My eyes do need eye drops though every day but I am very good about having them put in.

Someone donated a DNA test and while I have a bit more shih tzu than poodle, I think I look more like a poodle.  Either way, while I do need to be groomed regularly, I don’t shed!

Would you like to give a sweet, sweet older guy a home?  Apply for me!

(Charlie was surrendered to a vet to be euthanized because they didn’t want to take care of him any longer.  He is so EASY that I just do not understand why.)
