I have lived with another small dog and now in my foster home, there are more dogs and I get along with them. I even try to play a little with some of them. Since I was puppy, I always had another dog with me so I may need to go to a home with another friendly dog to keep me company if you are not home a lot. Toys are a lot of fun so you would want to have a nice collection for me.
My previous owner had to start working 12 hour days. I did not like being left without any humans this long and even though I was reliably house trained, I was having trouble once in a while holding it until someone came home!!! You can’t really blame me. You try to hold it that long and see how you do!
I am use to a fenced yard so if don’t have a fence, you will need to work with me on learning to potty on a leash. When we moved to a house without a fenced yard, I had a lot of accidents in the house.
You can crate me if you want to but I am probably old enough now that I don’t need it and I have a fenced yard to run and do my business in.
I grew up with children but they were 10 years and older. So far I haven’t met any really young ones so I am not sure what I would think of them. If you have a cat or cats, unfortunately I have not met any since I was rescued so we would have to do a trial visit to see if I can get along with felines.
