Little Eris is now ready for her forever home. Poor little girl had an issue with her right eye. At some point there was an injury and the eye became infected.  APB immediately got Eris medical treatment. She even saw a specialist in Ophthalmology! The Doctor was able to determine that eye lashes were embedded in her eye, causing lots of discomfort. The eye lashes were removed, and although Eris is blind in her right eye, there is no pain or further complication.

Boy or boy does Eris feel better. She is an active little girl now, even gets the zoomies around the house from time to time. She also is quite the jumper! She is very curious and wants to see what is going on up above her. Tables, beds, desks, couches are no problem for her. She is now learning and understanding ‘No’ and is learning where she can jump and where she shouldn’t jump.

She loves all people, young and old, and gets along fine with other dogs in the home. So far, no playing with toys, although enjoys wrestling with her humans.

Eris has learned if she is ‘good girl’ outside she gets a snack and now runs to the snack jar after being outside.

She will need a fenced in yard — her nose gets the best of her when she is outside. She doesn’t seem to notice if someone is calling her name as she is very focused on smells in the yard and wandering off to investigate.
