Meet Gibby!
Gibby and his two brothers came from rural Kentucky where they were dumped on the side of the road as just tiny babies. They made their way to APB to find safe and loving families.
Monty is a great little puppy who thrives on attention and loves to be praised! He is going to be a pretty big dog, so obedience training from a young age is a must, and he loves to do things right, he gets so excited when he receives praise.
He even has a tiny bit (2%) of Malamute in his DNA background, but he wont be that big and definitely not that shaggy!
He’s got that nice short bulldog/bully coat and naked belly so he hasn’t been a big fan of the really cold weather!
Gibby lives in a home with multiple dogs and cats and even horses and ducks and chickens, so he has seen it all. Don’t get me wrong, if those ducks are in the yard, he believes they deserve to be chased until they fly out of range. He takes the lead of the adult dogs and follows them everywhere, so if you have another dog he would thrive on having an older sibling.
He sleeps in a crate next to my bed and whines to wake me if he has to potty during the night. He also whines to go out, as long as you are paying attention.
He likes going bye-bye too. He is still working on leash training.
Gibby does bark (or scratches) to come inside when hes done playing.
He definitely loves snuggle time too! And he’s going to be a good sized snuggler!
When he was tiny and came to us, his little ears were glued right to his head and I think his left ear might even stand up eventually! It gets darned close! Hes a precious little puppy who wants a family of his own.
