When you can’t carry me around or let me snuggle in your lap, then my FAVORITE thing to do is to burrow under something soft to take a nap.
I usually get along with other dogs but if there are male dogs, I tend to mark to let them know I am boss. In my foster home, I wear a belly band quite often. I don’t play with other dogs and I don’t really like them laying near me but otherwise I exist fine with them.
Like most chihuahuas, I am not so sure I like new people but if one of my trusted humans picks me up and hands me to you, then I am fine.
So far I have only lived where there is a fenced yard. If your yard is not fenced, I am not sure how well I will be able to always potty outside. However, if you realize this and are willing to work with me, maybe I will consider it.
