This little old man is pretty easy. He only barks when he is hungry or thirsty. Unfortunately he does not bark to go outside but if he is on a schedule and you “ask him” if he needs to go outside, he is happy to do so.
He gets along with other dogs except when they bother him when he is sleeping under his “blankie”. He will growl and warn them not to step on him but that is all he does.
Most of the time he likes to sleep and is happy to be in a lap if available but as long as he has a blanket to crawl under, he will snooze anywhere.
Steps are a bit of a challenge for him but he is now taking arthritis supplements so maybe he will become more agile in time.
Jimjim has never met any cats but at 6 pounds and not too many teeth left, he probably can’t do them any harm. Because he is so small and almost fragile, he is not a good choice for a home with really young and/or active children.
