Hi, my name is Jewel!  I am a Beagle mix, and I am so excited to meet you.  I LOVE to play fetch and tug-of-war.  I have a lot of energy, and need a family that will take me on walks, and give me lots of hugs, and attention.
I get really excited walking on a leash and my foster family is helping me to walk a little better.  If I see a squirrel, I get pretty excited.  I would love a fenced back yard because fetching gigantic sticks is the best part of my day.

I am crate trained, and my foster family is clicker training me too — I know “kennel” and “sit” wonderfully.  I am working on “lay down” and “shake”.

In my foster family I live with 2 big dogs, and 2 small children (5 and 7 years old).  I am great with other dogs and children, in fact, I love a big family where I can get lots of dog and kid play time.  I will snuggle on everyone’s laps.

I sometimes bark at passing dogs, but I’m a beagle… that’s sort of expected.

My foster family thinks I am the best dog ever!

I am fully recovered from my spay surgery, and I just can’t wait to find the perfect forever home!
