Charlotte is a 5-6 year old Mini Aussie that was found in a mud puddle in West Tennessee. Why was she in a mud puddle you ask, well she is blind, but that doesn’t stop her here on the farm. You almost wouldn’t know that Charlotte is blind, because she finds her way just about everywhere in the house. She goes down the steps out to the fenced in yard to explore and do her business. She loves people and she will let you give her belly rubs all day long. She will go out of her way to be with you, and she adores being with you as much as she can. She loves to rub up against you and you can use her to rest your feet on if your so inclined. Kids, are one of her favorites too. She can go for long rides in the car and never get sick. Charlotte was probably an only dog, so she can be cranky with other dogs and does not like kitties at all. Her idea match would be an older stay at home couple so she can lay at their feet. They won’t have any other dogs or cats. Charlotte is a special dog with special needs, but you would be surprised just how self sufficient she really is. If you want a dog that will love you forever, Charlotte is the dog for you. She has had all of her vaccinations, is microchipped and has been tested for the MDR-1 gene and she is: Normal/Normal She has also seen a canine ophthalmologist who tells us that she has been blind from birth and unfortunately, there is nothing to be done about that.
