Poor Pogo had horribly infected teeth.  Many of them had to be pulled.  Some were so infected that he had an open fistula from his mouth into the nasal cavity.  Surgery was done to close it up but another visit to the vet ended up with bad news.  The opening did not heal and now he needs at least one more surgery.  Plus more of his teeth are infected and he will probably need them pulled.  When having this second surgery done, it was discovered that Pogo had a broken jaw.  It was an old injury that must have happened at his previous home.  His jaw is now pinned and we are hoping the fistula will heal. Now, it is surprising that this little chunk has no problem eating!  He either has a high tolerance for pain or else he loves food more than worrying about his mouth hurting.  And he is always happy, happy and often fairly goofy, making us smile.   But he doesn’t have a paying job so we need help with paying his vet bill which has climbed up to much more than we ever thought!   Please consider donating towards his bill.
