Luna is a 10 lb. toy Australian Shepherd. On January 4 she was injured by another foster dog. She has a badly displaced compound fracture of her left forearm. She will need surgery to fuse her broken bones with metal plates. Her initial bill at MSU was 464.39 for X-rays blood work and cleaning the wound and pain meds and antibiotic. The cost of her surgery will be considerably more.
