Please meet Louis. He needs your help. He was a stray in Baton Rouge Louisiana. He found his way to a kind soul’s door on Thanksgiving day, when he was starving and freezing. This kind gentleman held onto him because he just couldn’t see sending this kind old soul to get gassed at a local shelter. It took well over a month of coordinating rescue volunteers to get him to his foster home in Michigan.
Unfortunately Louis has lived a hard life thus far, but he doesn’t hold his history against anyone. He is a perfect ambassador for all wonderful Rottweilers. He loves everyone — dogs, cats, strangers, kids, you name it. He is just a lover!
Louis is also heartworm positive…which means a long road to recovery for this wonderful boy.
