ADOPTED!

Breed: German Shorthair Pointer Mix DOB: 2010 Sex: Neutered male Weight:  70 pounds Foster home: Dale 133-18 Jack came to us from Animal Control. He was adopted to a great home but, unfortunately, he thought it was great fun chasing the adopter’s cats so he was returned.. He is a great dog but, obviously, he should go to a new home that does not have cats. He was a little overweight so he has been on a diet. As a result he does tend to counter surf once in a while. Also, since he is a little older, it is best for him not to go to a home with young children. He would be an ideal companion for an older person or couple or even a family with older children. A fenced yard would be ideal for him. He will just lie on my deck and bask in the sun on warm days. He has a great disposition. He is friendly and affectionate. He is pretty laid back but still likes to play with his chew toys and run in the back yard with other dogs his size. His favorite playmates are a Lab mix and Boxer. He is housebroken and crate trained. He has always slept in a crate at night and so he goes in the crate with no problem. He seems to get along well with all other dogs even small ones. He is just a super, gentle guy who needs love and a forever home. Jack has a super personality. He would make a great family pet. He is gentle, loyal, affectionate, smart and just a joy to be around. All he asks in return is lots of love, your companionship and a little grooming a couple of times a week. If you would like more information, please email lisa@schnauzerama.org.
