Tiki was a stray who came into ICAC with a broken jaw, so they asked APB if we could foster him and get his jaw fixed. They also said he was very scared there an would bite. But once we got him home, he was just the sweetest little guy and made no attempt to bite.  He has had his surgery and now has plates on either side of his jaw to hold it in place. He was also neutered and had one tooth pulled, so his vet bill was almost $2000. He has recovered very quickly and is even eating kibble. He doesn’t know his jaw was ever injured! He even carries around shoes, slippers and boots of any size and drops them by his bed, but never chews on them.

He is a very happy, playful and cuddly dog.  Tiki is also house trained and crate trained and does the cutest little dance as he goes into his crate for meals.  He likes to play with our other small foster dog, and is fine with the other small dogs in the house. He will also play tug of war and chase and would like another young dog to play with.

Tiki was also great with our two grandsons (ages 8 and 10) when they came over, but I wouldn’t put him with younger kids who might scare him.  He is still a little timid and takes awhile to warm up to new people.  We think he is young, as his teeth are in very good shape, but don’t know exactly, so are guessing 3 yrs. old.
