Compound Leg Fracture

Lil’ Orphan Annie Breed: Yorkshire Terrier mix DOB: 2013 Sex: Spayed female Weight: 11 pounds Foster home: Jenifer 310-14 Original info: Annie is as cute as can be and so loveable none of the other dogs can resist playing with her. She is a yorkie mix under a year old and 11 #. Unfortunately Annie had an accident falling out of bed onto the hard flooring. As a result she ended up with a compound fracture of her leg and had to have emergency surgery. Dr. Shultz was able place a pin in her leg to stabilize it. Annie will undergo another surgery to remove the pin at the end of 8 weeks. In the meantime she goes back to the vet clinic for rechecks and rewrapping of the leg every week. At the present time her medical bills far exceed her adoption fee. So if anyone can help Annie, and Animal Placement Bureau with her medical expenses, we would really appreciate it. Update! HI, I am little Orphan Annie, I am about 1 year old, female terrier mix and so much fun no one can resist me! I love to play and play and play and then take a walk. I am still figuring out the whole leash thing, but I get better every time I get to walk. I love to cuddle with my brother Benji and usually prefer to sleep with him. We play a lot. He can be scared, but I love new adventures and meeting new people. I kind of run around a lot, sitting still isn’t fun. Although, I do like bedtime. I sleep all night long now! I am working on potty training, some days I remember, some days I am too busy playing to remember. Also, I don’t like to be outside alone, my brother has to go with me. We would like to stay together. I cuddle, I play with my brother or anyone that will play with me. I like squeaky toys and running around the back yard. Other dogs and a fence a must.
