Hi – My name is Knuckles. That was the name my first mom gave me. She got in trouble for having too many dogs. So off to this crazy shelter I went. Oh I was so scared there! Then one day this lady showed up and took me away. She says she’s just my foster mom, and that was great for a while, but I really want to go to my forever home now.

See she has a cat, and I do not like cats! I love dogs, any dog is fine with me. I only get a little jealous once in while, but I have learned there is enough love for both of us since there aren’t so many dogs around like my first home.

I am very protective, so it’s best I am not around little kids. If they lunge toward you I will mistake it for an attack and protect you. I am a good protector. I also like to shake, I can sit and lie down. But mainly, I love to running outside in the summer and sleeping under blankets the rest of the time. If you have to go work that’s fine, just leave me a blanket on the couch or access to the bed. I will curl up under the blankets and sleep until I hear you come home.

I get so happy and excited to see you again, I am first to greet you to at door. Sometimes my tail wags so hard it spins me around!

I am about 20lbs and they say I am part Jack Russel Terrier and part Chihuahua. I don’t really care, I am just a happy boy who won’t pee in the house. I bark to greet visitor, to make sure they are welcomed. Then I go back to my blanket and snuggle or grab a toy to throw it around.

My favorite treat is my pigs hoof, I chew it and sleep with, and won’t share it at all. I love going for walks or playing catch in the yard. Please don’t let people lunge at my face. I think they’re ill-intended and get really defensive. I won’t bother them if they don’t bother me. Otherwise I am healthy and UTD on shots. Well, I have old eyes but I am not blind.

I am 8 years and I need to find my home. I am cute and I am funny and loyal through and through. Will you help me find my way home?
