Sex: Neutered male
Weight:
14 pounds
Foster home: Beth R.
155-19

Hugo was one of more than 10 dogs in a home where the owner could no longer take decent care of all the dogs.  Originally he was quite frightened of strangers, especially men but he is doing really well now with the use of treat training and aromatherapy.   He now warms up to strangers after some time although he has a tougher time warming up to men.

He should be use to small/medium dogs but he has met some he wasn’t sure of, especially bigger dogs.   The great things about Hugo is that he does like some dogs, ignores the cats he lives with, he is house trained, he will happily go in a crate but he does not need to be (and is not crated since the first few days in his foster home.)  He loves to sit on your lap or by you on the couch and he also loves to be taken on walks.  Once he is back home from a walk, he is content to just hang out on the couch, looking out the window or taking a nap.  He can be very affectionate and is a very nice dog.
