Heather

Breed:  Shih tzu
DOB: 2006
Sex: Spayed female
Weight:
 12 pounds
Foster home: Julie
183-17

Heather lost her owner and so she needs a new home.  None of her owner’s family could safely take a little dog.

We are working with Heather to re-housetrain her.  She does love to go outside when it is nice weather and she really likes to follow her humans outside when they are out there.  She does better with a fenced yard because she can then putz around and take her time.

She gets along great with other dogs and is not scared of bigger dogs.  We are not sure what she thinks of cats as she hasn’t met any but she is so sweet and easy-going, it should not be a problem.

When she went to the vet to have a dental, they did note that she has a heart murmur but she is otherwise healthy and she does not have any symptoms so she is currently not taking any medications for her heart.

If you are looking for an older little girl who rarely barks and likes to be near you, apply for Heather!
