Gypsy was found as a stray in Detroit. She had a micro-chip and the shelter repeatedly called the phone number on the chip. Eventually the owners showed up at the shelter. They had been on vacation. When the shelter told them that there was a fee for her shots and care they said they didn’t want her back. Gypsy is the sweetest girl that has probably not had a great life. She is very shy and prefers to live under the deck. The neglect wasn’t just skin deep. She is Heartworm positive. Her teeth look like a rotting coral reef. She has a number of odd tumors that will need to come off and she needs to be spayed. Gypsy is 8 years old and will be spayed 8/15/19 if her heart worm status permits. She is on a diet and should weigh about 50 lbs when she gets in shape. Please donate to Gypsy’s upcoming medical procedures. She is so sweet and deserves a long and loving life.
