gretta-kissingI am a sweet, silly, love bug!  I am always happy and love to have fun!  I like to think I am a snuggly lap-dog, even though I am 60 pounds!  I LOVE to have my belly rubbed, and I will rollover onto my back and smile at you!  I might be shy and spend a lot of time in my crate at first, but I never bite, snap, or growl.

I am crate trained and will go to my crate when mom or dad opens the crate door and says “Pen up!”  I don’t bark or whine when I’m in my crate, as long I have a pile of soft blankies to lie on.  I am potty trained and will NOT make a mess in my crate, even overnight!  If I’m left overnight outside of my crate, sometimes I can’t hold it and have to pee inside.  I like to curl up and snooze on the couch, or stretch all the way out and take a nap on my back!  I will race back and forth across the yard with a big smile on my face!  I haven’t figured out how to play “fetch” yet, but I would love for someone to teach me!

I love to play and spend time with mom and dad!  Dad will pick me up and tell me I am his tiny puppy!  Mom will throw a blankie over me and dad will call me an “Afghan Hound”!  I am learning that it is fun to chew on rubber toys, but I’m not very interested in them yet.

I live with another big dog (120 pounds!) and I REALLY want him to play with me, but he’s too old and not interested in playing.  I bow to him and swat my paws at him, but he just ignores me.  I live with 3 little dogs, and I get along great with them, but they don’t like to play either.  There are 2 cats in my house but I just ignore them.  If they hiss at me, I will run away!

I can walk okay on a leash, but I need lots more practice.  I am not used to car noises yet, so I don’t like when traffic passes me on a walk.  I like everyone once I get to know them, but I might be too rambunctious for a house with anyone I might knock down, like a small child or elderly person.  I don’t know my own energy sometimes!
