Little Reese had a lot of pain in his eyes from glaucoma.  He no longer has pain but he will need some antibiotic drops put in one eye until the lens completely dissolves.  His other eye was so damaged that he could no longer see and there wasn’t anything that could be done to save his eye.  However, the ophthalmologist could put a false eye in place so that Reese could keep his adorable looks.  Reese and APB extend a BIG thanks to Leslie Nason for donating the funds to make this possible for this sweet boy.

Now that he feels so good, Reese is a delightful little lap dog who adores human attention.  He will sit in your lap or rest near you in a doggie bed or on furniture.  He gets along great with other dogs – he doesn’t play with them but he will sleep near them and doesn’t get jealous over food or your lap or anything else that we have noticed.  He is housetrained and is definitely over the chewing stage so he is not crated.

He hasn’t met any cats while in foster so we are not sure what he thinks of them but he is such a mellow little guy that it would be tough to imagine that he would have a problem with them.

If you would like an easy and personable little dog, Reese is the one for you.
