Isaac

Isaac is a sweet little guy who gets along with everyone. He wanders around the back yard with his buddies a Shih Tzu and 2 miniature poodles.  Like the other dogs, Isaac seems to want to check out all the sounds and smells. When he is done he climbs the 4 steps to the deck and waits by the back door to be let in. When he comes inside, he finds his food and then likely will jump up on the couch for his afternoon nap.

All this doesn’t seem like a big deal until you realize Isaac is blind. He gets around very well. He does bump into things once in a while but that seems to help him learn how to navigate. The only problem he seems to have is going down stairs or jumping off the couch since he is not sure how high he is. He is learning more every day and I am sure he will have no problem with the stairs soon.

He has been to the eye doctor and he is permanently blind. Also, he does need drops in his eyes once a day. Other than that, he is a normal, friendly, smart little guy. He loves to sit in my lap at night if I read or watch tv.
He has had all his shots, is neutered and microchipped.

He is house trained and has never had an accident in the house.

He would make an excellent addition to pretty much any household although one that is reasonably calm and quiet would be best.

A fenced yard would be great so he won’t get lost.  He is very good at following your voice. I walk around  the yard and talk to him and he follows me. He can navigate by himself also with very little problem.  He is not for everyone as it takes a little more patience to care for him. It is amazing though how well he does. He will make a super pet for a lucky family.
