Update May 2019 – I got x-rays of my leg…they said I was a Good Boy for that! The vet wasn’t happy with the movement of one of the screws – it was close to my knee. So I had that taken out of my leg, and I need to heal up a little bit longer!
Hiya, I’m Ernie! I was lost, and ended up in a shelter. I came to my foster home, and they noticed I had a ‘lil limp. The doggie doctor said – he doesn’t seem to be in pain, but I’ll take some x-rays…
YIKES!!!! My leg was REALLY broken!
My foster mom said…that’s going to cost a lot of dollars, but we need to get him fixed up. He’s a young guy – I’m 1.5-2 years old! So we scheduled me for surgery…that took a bit, ’cause I got a cough from the shelter.
But finally, the day came, and I got all fixed up!
I will need to recover for about another month and a half. Then the doggie doctor will take some more pictures, and make sure I’m healing up OK. Here I am, rocking the doggles during my cold laser treatment, and hanging out in the yard:
I’m a very good boy. I like to play with my foster brother. I’m a bit shy, and sometimes I bark at big dogs…they scare me a bit. I met one cat, and he was bigger than me! EEK!
