Hiya! I’m Clara Bean!

How did a girl like me end up in a place like this? I’m not telling. I ended up in a shelter, and they noticed one of my legs doesn’t work so good. So the doctor looked at me, and said – she needs surgery on her hip.

So I’m hanging out at my foster home, waiting to get all fixed up, and SWOOP! They wake me up when it is cold and DARK. I had to go OUT in the cold and…I was on TV!

The next day I went to the doctor to get my hip fixed and get spayed, and they discovered when they spayed me that I was REALLY sick. I had something called pyometra – which is a really bad infection. So I got some medicine, and they did the spay surgery…my hip will come later.

In the meantime, I’m hanging out working on training the humans. They’re getting pretty well trained…they give me food, and snacks, and pets when I ask for them. Then I go back to my bed. My foster mom says I have the cutest ‘lil tail wag…

But all this medicine and surgery stuff costs LOTS of dollars. Do you have some dollars to help me get all fixed up, so I can keep training humans?

Update 10-25-2018:

Yep, I’m still Clara Bean, and I’m a ROCK STAR!!! I went back to the doctor on 10-23-2018. The doctor said, yep, she looks good..let’s fix this hip.

I’m not sure about going BACK to that doctor, they keep doing STUFF. But my discharge paperwork says I should be toe touching in 10-14 days, and using my leg some of the time in three weeks. I came home YESTERDAY, 24 hours later, and I’m already toe touching and using it part of the time. I went for a jaunt around the yard all by myself today! Go me!!

We still need some dollars to help me get fixed up – can you help?
